This camera is nicely designed. The Enclosure is all aluminum and is weather resistant. I like the fact that the video and power wire exits the rear of the camera via a flexible gimbal and has a removable bezel. This camera has a multitude of mounting options. The lockable lens shade is also a nice feature.The camera displays good color saturation and displays well for me in full sun and low lighting conditions with it's 48pcs High-intensity Infrared LEDs w/ IR Cut Allows Up to 100ft.

It says 130 feet but I think that is really pushing the specifications. This is a analog camera. It isn't as sharp as a 1080 camera but the image quality is fine for my applications.I feel this is a good entry level camera and I would recommend it. I have been running 2 of these for about 3 weeks now. The are well worth the money, and integrated nicely into my budget system. These seem to be higher quality than some $350 commercial cameras I have recently dealt with (wirepath).

After I installed the first camera, I couldn't imagine getting a better camera for my money, so I went ahead and bought a second. I plan on buying 2 more to complete my system. IR works better than expected, but I have noticed they do run a little warm in IR mode. Firstly, this was the only system that had 8 1080P cam at a lowest price comparing to the other companies.

There are many negative comments about the connection the mobile phone, especially, android phone. Not in my case!I could set up and connect all cameras the the server and display on a TV monitor, but I couldn't I couldn't view them with my Samsung phone. That led my to a solution: return the system.but then, after reading the set up instruction that sent it to me from technical support, I was able to make a connection with my android phone and view them, both with HOME WIFI and Phone WIFI. I even ask my son to use his iPhone to download the app and view all the cameras from his house, 30 mile away.Set up the system with a monitor (PC or TV) is very easy, if you follow the.

The two things about this camera that impressed me were (1) excellent night vision, much better then original camera that was part of security system, and (2) wide angle, I can now the side of the house, and the fence on other side, both of which were outside the frame in old camera. Hanging the camera at dusk, I did note a 'click' when I covered the sensor, indicating that a relay was switching to night vision (black & white). Old technology, I consider that a plus. I've since purchased 4 more of these cameras as spares for when (not if) the night vision goes out on my remaining cameras. Nice, easy setup, works as it should.

Shopped around for a while and made sure it would work with my night owl system. Nightowl didn't have a Ptz camera available for my sytem( pro881TB 960H ) really nice addition to my 7 other cameras.

You can zoom in across my street and read the license plates in their driveway and more. Night owl RS485 ports are marked A&B the two wires for this on the camera are A&B but if you buy the cable as i did separately it was marked + & - + being A and - behind negative.

I only needed 40 ' of cable so I shopped around and bought the rhino 50' cable which works fine.
