For me it was like this: used to play a MMORPG back in 2010 i think, played for a solid 4 years with the same character and got banned so i started playing a very different game with some friends i made in said MMORPG, the game in question being, a music game which you probably know.
Anyway about three days after being banned i come across an awesome map and i loved the game because of that map. Which map you may ask?. I then noticed i didnt fell in love with the game but i did with the song. Right after that i searched more of renard and i discovered my first music love crush. What is your story?. I refused to let the radio tell me what to listen to so I went into an mp3 search engine and would type in random words until I found something I liked. One day I typed in Kitsune.
There were few results I think only three. Zoro - Kitsune, Kitsune 2 - Goodnight and some other one that I completely forgot. Never heard the ducktales moon theme before that but I liked it.Found Ren's channel on youtube, I guess I went from K 2 to Renard liked stuff like Feel Better and Amber Supernova. Recognizing that he was sampling at that point I assumed Amber Starlight was not an original work.So I searched for the original, and I found the Queenstons. From there I started to figure out that it was just one person with a bunch of different aliases and started noting which was his voice. In any case he just struck me as someone I'd get along with. With a few things I've read and becoming a patreon and joining a few streams, in my mind, he's ceased to be an artist and seems more like a normal person, which is good.Dan Avidan and Brian Wecht A.K.A. Ninja Sex Party are the only other good (in my opinion) musicians I know that I don't feel like I'm a complete stranger to, probably thanks to Game Grumps.

Well the FIRST TIME i listened to a song by ren was on 2009, i was just a 10 kid who likes trance, happycore and ddr/bemani music, and i was downloading many songs for stepmania then i discovered the song and then, i just started looking for remixes of it and i found and i loved it.Well when i got REALLY into lapfox was on 2012 when i got interesed by speedcore and i found that says TQBF is shit, but i dont gave a fuck about this guy and i started listening to TQBF and i liked it, then i got into lapfox. I've said it many times on this subreddit, but I first learned about Ren from seeing a Tumblr post that one of the people I was following reblogged back in 2013, with the song 'Stag Party'. I got hooked on that song and then soon found Ren's Bandcamp and YouTube and became an avid fan of his which I am to this day.Despite this fact, I heard 'Rainbow Tylenol' for the first time in a YouTube video back in 2011. However, back then, I had no idea that Ren produced that song nor what it was called.
I found it in a video of Nyan Cat with a trollface photoshopped onto its head (you can no longer find this video on YT, by the way).
